Our story
Why NoteSense exists
We're Joe and Lucy — directors of Sharp Physiotherapy, and before that, nearly a decade in professional sport with Team GB and professional football. We left elite sport to bring that level of physio into private practice.
What we found was a wall of admin. Notes took nearly as much time as treating — and we didn't want that for our team. You enjoy this job when you're learning: shadowing a colleague, picking apart a case, or developing your manual therapy techniques. Not spending every break writing up notes and referral letters.
We couldn't find a tool that gave our clinicians that time back. So we built NoteSense and we've used it in our clinic every day since.

How does it work?
Click Record at the start of your consultation and Stop at the end. NoteSense extracts only the clinically relevant information, formats it into SOAP notes, and saves it as a draft in Cliniko, ready to review and approve.
You can also generate a referral letter with one click before you finish the session, and the Patient Summary button gives you a clear handover of any patient’s history in under 30 seconds, perfect for new patients or ones you haven’t seen in years.
Is my client information safe?
Absolutely. No clinical data is ever stored on NoteSense servers. The recording takes place in the clinician’s browser memory and no audio is uploaded to our servers and the transcript is not stored.
What happens to the transcription after the recording?
The audio recordings are processed only in the clinician’s browser memory. Transcripts are never stored and displayed only. Summary notes are displayed only and sent to Cliniko if chosen.
How does it connect to Cliniko?
If you are an admin on Cliniko
